*if you are Tiger's Eye, Iolite, Kanji, or Viola, Lark left a candle for you to get in touch with her sometimes! feel free to use this post at any time for that.*
((as with Kite's, feel free to tag here even if she didn't give you a candle -- she asked Tiger's Eye and Viola at least to share them with other team people/knights! please just let them know OOC ♥))

There's no reason not to, no. ...Maleficent said recently that once we've recovered ourselves, we're no longer accessible to the darkness. But thinking that way is still new to me.

Apparently that's one of the reasons you—or we, hypothetically—can leave and fight the Darkness on our own.

I always thought it was just because we couldn't do any good with the games anymore . . . that if we weren't playing them for anything then it wasn't doing anything for the world.

No. The change is more fundamental than that.

But when we finish rebuilding ourselves, the darkness no longer retains it's foothold; it isn't a threat in the same way it is to heroes or knights.

Do you think . . . the Darkness can be in people sometimes?

Then . . . then yes, it makes sense.

I was thinking . . . of how the darkness could have been reaching out at home.
There was a man I knew once. His name was Carving Knife. He made me think my Jon was dead, and said that if I didn't do what he wanted, he would make sure everyone remembered him badly. So I think, I think maybe there was some dark in him.

Yes, I think that's possible after all.

Umm...if you think there's a way we can help using this, would you mind calling and telling me?

...I don't know how close we are to the forest now. We've moved again.
