[MEMORIES # 9 & 10 / SKILL # 3]
* “Tell me, Timi—to whom do you belong?” (significant negative, shareable)
“N-N-No--,” stammered Timi, “Oh, N-N-N-No.”
The Queen said quickly, “I heard the Griffin speak to the Imperial Dragon last night, but I did not know she spoke our language. Tell me, Timi—to whom do you belong?”
“T-T-To—to--” began Timi, but she was trembling so much she could not go on. While she had lived with Jon Dumpling she had almost forgotten what it felt like to be frightened, but now, at the moment of her greatest joy, she was more terrified than she had ever been in her life.
+ This is literally the most conflicted moment of Timi's life. FEELINGS!
+ She might hide in a tree for a while after this one.
+ When she gets over it a little bit she'll realize that Jon Dumpling is alive and okay!
+ Queens are people too. Even less regard for fancy titles than she had before.
+ She knows her real name! She might stick to being 'Lark' in Aather, though, since it has much more positive meaning than 'Timi.'
* The Queen's cup. (trivial neutral)
That night [Jonathan] showed her a small china cup. There were blue flowers on it and a gilded crown.
“The Queen used to drink her tea from this,” said Jon Dumpling. “She gave it to me when I made her the hundredth apple pie. You shall drink your milk from it when I see you fly once round the bakehouse chimney.” But Timi hung her head.
“I shall never learn to fly,” she said.
+ WHOOPS THIS MEMORY BRINGS BACK HER FEAR OF FLYING.
+ And knowing why her wings are useless.
+ It's maybe the easiest way to get that back, though--a quiet acknowledgement of the issue instead of the bad memory of what triggered it in the first place. She probably won't talk about it! But attempts to get her to use her wings properly will be even more useless than before, and she's certainly not going to try jumping off high places to make them work like she did before.

...is reading! Totally issue-free! Yaaaay.
